Enrol here.

It’s September! Spring is here! New life (and hay fever) is on the verge of sprouting and it’s time to talk about one of my favourite spring activities – My Creative Process. New to the blog? Never fear.

Here are the basics:

My Creative Process is delivered online over a four week period. Lessons will be released daily on a weekly topic. I am going to appeal to as many learning styles as possible, so lessons will incorporate written instruction, diagrams/charts and video.

Full of notes, exercises and tips, students will be encouraged to participate and engage with their creativity. Practically, and skills-wise, students will get to have a piece of their work (up to 3000 words) assessed. This 250-word feedback, along with peer connection and gained knowledge, will assist the student for future creative endeavours.

At the end of the course, I will offer a free critical reading and assessment of a prose piece (up to 3000 words). (I’m happy to read poetry, too, if requested.) This is worth the cost of the course alone.

Please note: This is the last time I will be able to offer this course at this price ($220 full price or $176 early bird rate). The price has remained the same since I began running it two years ago, but my timetable and reading commitments (teaching, mentoring, writing etc.) are increasing. Don’t worry, the price won’t go up by much! But I wanted to give you a fair warning.

In a minor *spoiler* alert, a few of the exercises and tips I run in this course are in my upcoming book Trust the Process. However, I deliberately kept the two as separate as possible. That way former students can read the book and learn new information and book readers can go on to do the course and learn new information.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email or contact me via social media channels. Be sure to find the extended course outline here on the blog. Or you can go straight to the course website here.
