As I type this on my iphone, I am in the hell many might know that is trying to settle children to sleep in a single hotel family room. Barely a metre away, they are fussing and complaining why we get to stay up later and they don’t.

Though honestly I prefer this to our car trip down here, which had Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets on loop and the grating voice of Dobby in my ear and the very regular game of ‘My God, who just farted?’ with a quick winding down of windows.

As I said, we are still on the road and will not be home for a few days yet, so therefore my ability to blog properly about yesterday’s conference is impeded. But it was wonderful, and I will do so as soon as I can.

My mind is still abuzz with excitement and love (and almost disbelief!) that I have gotten to meet and kiss and hug some of my oldest friends and those I adore anew. Thank you, all.

Well, look at that. They are asleep and I am not far behind.

Take care, stay well x

And fingers crossed this works…
